Merritt Island Holiday Packages

Overall our stay wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the magical experience we thought we would receive staying at a Disney resort. Our first few hours spent there, we were very frustrated with the service and staff, despite speaking to guest services who were less then helpful. PROS - Very close to Disney Springs - Almost always first hotel back on the shuttle - 24 hour food from the cafe - bus drivers were on time, incredibly helpful and very, very friendly CONS - Guest services were no help at all. Dismissed our shuttle questions and told us it wasn’t their problem - staff not overly friendly or helpful at the front desk - the shuttle system upon arrival was very frustrating and confusing but we got the hang of it* - shuttles from the parks only run every hour there and back - no where to store anything in the huge bathroom, so much space but no shelving - the tv didn’t work and staff told us “it was being fixed” but after 4 days, it never worked *they make you book a return time from the parks for a shuttle. Despite what they tell you, it is incredibly flexible and you can leave when you want.
